Remote Communities Committee
Remote communities are defined as those where carrying the AA message is difficult because of geographical, language or cultural barriers. The purpose of this committee is to locate, identify and reach out to members of these communities, offering the hand of AA where needed.
With the desire to keep the hand of A.A. available to anyone in need, the District 6 Remote Communities Committee has prepared this trifold as a tool for providing information on various ways to contact with Alcoholics Anonymous and get the message of hope for those struggling with problems with alcohol. Please feel free to copy and pass along this information to places where it might be useful (i.e. individuals, local libraries, community centers, health departments, department of corrections facilities, churches, etc.)
